Vitamin Angels’ 2nd Annual Reception at Topgolf ™ Raises over $175,000

SANTA BARBARA, CA – On Tuesday, September 26, more than 250 guests representing over 80 companies across the Natural Products Industry and beyond, attended Vitamin Angels’ 2nd Annual reception at Topgolf™ in Las Vegas, NV. The event raised over $175,000 through sponsorships, ticket sales, and onsite fundraising. Proceeds will go toward Vitamin Angels’ efforts to combat childhood malnutrition by reaching underserved populations with nutritional support.

“The turnout and enthusiasm were phenomenal,” said Howard Schiffer, President and Founder of Vitamin Angels. “As event attendance and sponsorships grow year over year, the industry is sending a clear message that it believes in our mission, and believes in us.”

Vitamin Angels’ reception brought together contract manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and their customers from the dietary supplement and natural products industry. Guests enjoyed networking with their peers while taking part in golf gaming, a fundraising tournament, and the opportunity to learn more about the organization’s global programs.

Following the reception, Vitamin Angels hosted a booth at the SupplySide West tradeshow at the Mandalay Bay Hotel sharing information about the organization and gift in-kind supply and manufacturing opportunities for interested companies. Supplyside West organizer, Informa Exhibitions, committed to donating on behalf of the attendees, and presented Vitamin Angels with a check for more than $36,000.
