Why We Exist
Every woman and child deserves the chance to thrive. Vitamin Angels helps save lives and improve maternal and child health through proven nutrition solutions.

More than one billion women and children are malnourished
Malnutrition is one of the world’s most urgent public health challenges, and women and children are among those most vulnerable to its impacts.
Vitamin Angels exists to help change that. We reach pregnant women, infants, and young children with proven nutrition interventions to support healthier pregnancies, stronger beginnings, and brighter futures.

74 million women and children reached
Working across 65 countries and all 50 US states, Vitamin Angels reaches 74 million women and children each year with high-impact nutrition solutions.

57,000 children’s lives saved
Vitamin Angels reached more than 44.9 million children with vitamin A supplementation last year, helping prevent 44 million childhood illnesses.

784,000 cases of anemia in pregnancy prevented
Vitamin Angels provided prenatal multivitamins to benefit the health of 11.3 million pregnant women and their babies last year.
Vitamin Angels focuses on reaching the most nutritionally vulnerable groups — pregnant women, infants, and young children — with proven nutrition solutions. Together with our partners, we help communities overcome barriers to services and build healthier futures.
Improving Maternal and Child Health
When women and children have access to the nutrition they need, communities thrive. Through proven interventions and strong partnerships, Vitamin Angels reaches pregnant women, infants, and young children with support that makes a lasting difference.

Promoting Good Nutrition from the Start
Good nutrition is essential during pregnancy and early childhood, when growth and development matter most. For families facing food insecurity and limited access to healthcare, the right support at the right time can help break the cycle of poverty and poor health and give children a healthier start.
Extending Care to Underserved Communities
Access to care should never determine health. Vitamin Angels partners with local organizations and governments to help women and children in underserved communities get essential nutrition and health services.
Challenges of Nutrition and Climate Change
Climate change makes it harder for women and children to access nutritious food and essential services. It deepens food insecurity, worsens maternal and child nutrition, and reinforces inequities across generations. Vitamin Angels is committed to addressing these challenges with care, urgency, and purpose.
