Patch: Charity Supports Women – International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is March 8th donate to a charitable organization that helps empower women.

Vitamin Angels is on a mission to help nutritionally-vulnerable pregnant women and children in all 50 US states and 70+ countries gain access to life-saving essential vitamins and minerals – a proven way of combating the threat of malnutrition at the start of a child’s developmental life. A donation to Vitamin Angels this International Women’s Day is one of the simplest ways to ensure the health, well-being, and futures of women and children in every part of the world is protected, no matter their lack of income or resources.

Most governments offer health and nutrition services intended to meet the needs of their citizens. But despite their best efforts, limited resources often constrain their ability to do so. Unfortunately, those who need services the most tend to go unreached. This is where Vitamin Angels comes in. They partner with local, nonprofit organizations who provide health and nutrition services to underserved women and children. They seek to support only those initiatives that are complementary to and coordinated with existing national health services.
