As General Counsel, Delenia is instrumental in ensuring that Vitamin Angels operates with integrity, transparency and full compliance across all jurisdictions where it works.  She is committed to strengthening the legal foundations necessary for Vitamin Angels long-term growth, innovation and expanding impact. Delenia brings to her role over 25 years of advisory, leadership and transactional experience acquired in a variety of settings, including global law firms, multilateral treaty-based organizations, and non-profit organizations operating in multi-entity global structures.  She has lived and worked as a practicing lawyer on four continents—Africa, Asia, Europe and North America—and is licensed to practice law in California, Washington, DC, and England and Wales (Solicitor).

Delenia is passionate about supporting mission-driven organizations to achieve their strategic and operational goals and objectives, and working collaboratively with colleagues across functions and geographies to advance the mission. 

Outside of work, you’ll find Delenia taking long walks and hikes (and generally enjoying nature) with her fur buddy and traveling internationally with her college-aged daughter.
