New Initiative to Get MMS to Mothers in Uganda

The Initiative to Advance Implementation Science in Nutrition, a collaboration between the Vitamin Angels and the Center for Human Nutrition at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, launched a new program to provide underserved pregnant women with multiple micronutrient supplementation (MMS) to improve maternal and birth outcomes in Uganda. As part of its ongoing collaboration, the Initiative is working with the Ministry of Health/Uganda, UNICEF/Uganda, and the Child and Family Foundation Uganda.
