Vitamin Angels Welcomes Arvind Mathur to Board of Directors


Vitamin Angels is pleased to announce the appointment of Arvind Mathur, PhD, to its Board of Directors. A seasoned global health and pharmaceutical leader, Mathur brings more than 20 years of experience in strategy, commercial leadership, and innovative healthcare solutions. His expertise spans diverse therapeutic areas, product launches, and cross-continental operations, with a strong focus on improving health equity and access for underserved populations.

“I was drawn to Vitamin Angels’ legacy of effectively reaching and delivering nutrition solutions to pregnant women and children across the world and am truly excited about the future as the organization fully transforms into a leading global public health organization with expanded programs and offerings,” said Mathur.

As founder and principal of ArM Strategy Consulting, Mathur advises biopharma leadership teams on launch preparation and execution, commercial operations, and strategic initiatives in global health. Among his proudest achievements is leading a holistic feasibility assessment to establish an Infectious Disease Center in Eastern Malaysia and driving the thinking behind its vision, mission, and strategic direction. 

Previously, Mathur has held senior leadership roles at global pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis and Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where he led teams across Europe, Asia, and the United States. His work has ranged from product launch strategy and commercial excellence to building operational capabilities and innovative partnerships to address unmet healthcare needs.

Mathur earned his PhD in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, as well as an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business. He received his undergraduate and advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology in India.
