Arvind Mathur, PhD

Arvind Mathur, PhD, is a purpose-driven leader who is passionate about improving human health, addressing health inequity, developing innovative strategies, and delivering sustainable solutions.

With more than two decades of global experience leading teams to deliver results and impact, Arvind has broad expertise in strategy, business management, go-to-market solutions, and commercial capabilities. He is driven to make an impact on global health and deliver innovative solutions to address unmet needs among underresourced populations.

As founder and principal of ArM Strategy Consulting, Arvind supports diverse biopharma companies and their leadership teams on a variety of subjects, including launch preparation and execution, commercial operational capabilities, and strategic global health initiatives. He is particularly proud of his work driving a holistic feasibility assessment to establish an Infectious Disease Center in Eastern Malaysia, shaping its vision, mission, and strategic direction.

Previously, Arvind held leadership positions in global pharmaceutical companies, including Novartis and Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, across diverse geographies including Europe, Asia, and the United States. Prior to those roles, he worked with McKinsey & Co. and began his career as scientist and researcher, working closely with customers to develop novel polymeric materials and coatings.

Arvind holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, and undergraduate and advanced degrees in Chemical Engineering from the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in India.
