Benter Owino, MA, PHD (c).

In her role as Senior Technical Specialist for the Africa Region at Vitamin Angels, Benter Owino supports country teams in applying implementation studies to strengthen program quality, effectiveness, and sustainability across the diverse contexts. She holds a Master’s degree in Population Studies and Research from the University of Nairobi, a certificate in Strategic Management from the University of Illinois Gies Business School, and is currently pursuing a PhD in Organizational Leadership. She has an interest in and has successfully led regional and global health and development projects in collaboration with governments, implementing partners, and community stakeholders to advance policy dialogue, strengthen service delivery, expand access to essential interventions, and build operational capacity in the field. Outside of work, she mentors teens and young professionals and enjoys hiking.
