Gwyneth Cotes, MPH
Gwyneth Cotes is a public health and nutrition leader with more than 20 years’ experience supporting, designing, and managing health and nutrition programs around the world. Her work focuses on building effective partnerships and leading diverse, high-performing teams to deliver complex global nutrition programs. She previously served as Deputy Project Director and Global Engagement Lead for USAID AFFORD, a global food fortification initiative, and as Director of Global Initiatives and Deputy Project Director for USAID’s SPRING project, the agency’s flagship multi-sectoral nutrition program. Over the course of 14 years living and working in Africa and Asia, she led country programs in Malawi, Cambodia, and Indonesia, overseeing portfolios spanning emergency nutrition, maternal and child health, food systems, and gender equality. Gwyneth holds an MPH in International Health from Tulane University and a BA in International Development from American University.
