Karishma Sawhney joined Vitamin Angels in India as Development Manager to build partnership portfolios. She has over 11 years of experience in fundraising, program management, and relationship management.

Karishma has worked across sectors, including healthcare, environment, and education. She worked at Peepul where she strengthened the fundraising portfolio through partnerships with retail, corporate social responsibility (CSR), and international foundations. Before Peepul, she worked at WWF India, one of the largest conservation organizations in India, where she handled a donor portfolio of INR 200 million and nurtured long-term donor partnerships.

She has also worked with grassroots nonprofit Cankids (for children with cancer) in a program management and fundraising role. There, she managed 50% of the medical support programs and raised INR 35 million for key projects by identifying new donors and deepening relationships with existing donors.

Karishma has been a team member since 2022.
