Mexico Program Coordinator

Maria “Male” Hirata

As a Program Coordinator, Male has the mission to ensure that, with the support of program partners in Mexico, children and pregnant women receive the benefits of Vitamin Angels’ nutrition interventions. She supports Dr. Enrique Rios in Mexico and, as a nutritionist, believes that education and training are fundamental tools to improve health and nutrition indicators. One thing she enjoys the most about her work is creating tools that enhance communication with program partners, as well as developing materials that program participants can use. Her commitment and passion for nutrition drive her to continue innovating and contributing to the well-being of the community. In her free time, Male enjoys connecting with nature.
