Michelle Hobson

Michelle Hobson is a trusted and accomplished retail executive having devoted her entire career to the drugstore industry.  She spent the past 19 years with Walgreens where she served in a variety of roles leading and supporting beauty, most recently as Senior Manager, Beauty Program Development.  In this role she led the recruitment/training of a team of 75 regional beauty leaders along with store-level beauty consultants responsible for delivering exceptional, personalized expertise and care to their customers.  Prior positions with Walgreens included Innovation Merchant/Format Development and Manager of Strategic Business Development.

As of June 2020 Michelle is Director of Sales for Market Performance Group, leading Sales/Business Development for key beauty brands on behalf of Walgreens. Market Performance Group is an innovative consulting and sales management services company that specializes in helping manufacturers and retailers define a better path forward to accelerate growth and profitability.

Michelle has a deep passion for service and stewardship and is obsessed with cultivating and fostering strong relationships.  She is motivated by and thrives on making a difference at work, at her church, and within her community.  She is very active at her Parish serving in numerous ministries and chairing the Pastoral Council which provides strategic direction to the Pastor and Commissions. She enjoys volunteering and donating her time at local Food Banks, Soup Kitchens, and Catholic Charities.  She is grateful, honored, and truly humbled to join the Vitamin Angels Board of Advisors and leverage her vast expertise, experiences, and resources to help save lives.

Michelle lives in the northern suburbs of Chicago with her husband Mark.  Michelle and Mark spend their vacation time scuba diving – they have enjoyed excursions throughout the Caribbean as well as Indonesia and Fiji!  Michelle stays healthy by walking and/or running daily and enjoys racing in triathlons. She holds a BS in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin, Whitewater.
