Shannon King is an Implementation Science Manager at Vitamin Angels. In this role she supports VA’s implementation research activities through research protocol and tool development, ethical review management, and findings dissemination. She gained experience in public health nutrition in LMICs from her work with Nutrition International, Sight and Life, and the WHO. Dr King received her PhD at The Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in the Human Nutrition program of the Department of International Health. Her graduate work focused on improving the delivery of nutrition interventions through the health system in LMICs. In particular, her dissertation research focused on the association between the quality of antenatal care and adherence to micronutrient supplementation for pregnant women. Shannon has an MSPH in Human Nutrition from the same institution.
