As Indonesia Assistant Program Coordinator, Sophia works with the Program Coordinator to support meeting program objectives, communicating with stakeholders, and managing databases and documentation for our programs in Indonesia. Before working at Vitamin Angels, she had experience working at a local Indonesian NGO as a Grant and Communication Officer. During her time as a university student, she had some community service experiences in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, where she planned nutrition programs and gave nutrition education to various populations, including mothers, children, and the elderly. From those community service experiences, she discovered her passion for public health nutrition and it built her interest to work in the non-profit sector. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nutrition science from Gadjah Mada University.

When she is not working, Sophia spends her time reading books ranging from Jane Austen’s classic novels to non-fiction books. She also loves to watch movies, listen to good music, travel, and take a walk around the cities.
