SANTA BARBARA, CA – On Thursday, March 10, Vitamin Angels brought together more than 400 guests from the natural products industry and beyond to celebrate the life changing power of vitamins. Industry executives and associates networked in the Diamond Club and VIP Ketel One Club at Angel Stadium for the organization’s “League of Angels” event, an opening night reception for the Natural Products Expo West.
“The support of our corporate partners makes it possible for us to reach the families who don’t have the means to give their children the best start to life,” said Howard Schiffer, president and founder of Vitamin Angels. “Our partners’ support shows they believe in the power of vitamins. But it also demonstrates so much more; it shows they believe in the over 48 million children and moms we served last year. And that belief is changing lives.”
During the evening, attendees were treated to presentations by Schiffer and Vitamin Angels’ Board member and media personality, Sara Snow. Guests supported the charity throughout the evening through various fundraising activities such as hitting in the Anaheim Angels’ official batting cages, taking private, behind-the-scenes tours of the stadium, and making donations that allowed them to leave special notes for children and mothers being served by Vitamin Angels’ programs. Sponsorships and event fundraising brought in enough to reach nearly 400,000 children with life changing vitamins.
Following the reception, Vitamin Angels exhibited throughout the weekend at the Natural Products Expo West, which took place at the Anaheim Convention Center. Representatives from the organization, which is known for its successful cause-marketing partnerships, shared information about Vitamin Angels’ work and discussed corporate partnership opportunities with like-minded companies.
