Vitamin Angels Welcomes Carlyle Newell to Board of Directors and Michelle Hobson to Board of Advisors

SANTA BARBARA, CA., August 13, 2020 – Vitamin Angels is pleased to welcome Carlyle Newell to its Board of Directors and Michelle Hobson to its Board of Advisors. Both Newell and Hobson are passionate about giving the gift of nutrition to those in need and will utilize their career experience and expertise to fundraise, build brand partnerships, and provide strategic advisement to help expand Vitamin Angels programs and global business.

Newell has extensive global experience providing executive search and management consulting expertise. He currently serves as Managing Partner at Boyden Executive Search, a premier global talent and leadership advisory firm that has been ranked in the top ten executive recruiting firms by Forbes magazine. Newell specializes in global executive search and has extensive experience and strong relationships with a variety of nutrition and wellness clients ranging from leading Fortune 500 corporations to venture-backed tech startups. Newell received his B.A. from Rutgers University. 

Hobson is an accomplished leader and currently serves as the Director of Sales at Market Performance Group (MPG), an innovative consulting and sales management services company that specializes in helping manufactures and retailers accelerate growth and profitability. Prior to MPG, she spent over 20 years at Walgreens where she held a range of leadership positions including Senior Manager of Beauty Program Development. In this role, Hobson created an end-to-end customer care model which included the hiring and training of 75 field leaders and 3,000 beauty consultants. Hobson attended University of Wisconsin, Whitewater, where she earned a B.A. in Journalism.
