Alice Kamei

With a background in social work and over 11 years of experience in public health, Alice has led community-based programs across sectors including health, sanitation, environment, and family planning. She has worked closely with government officials, community leaders, and households, gaining deep insights into grassroots health systems. Prior to joining Vitamin Angels in August 2022, she coordinated oxygen ecosystem efforts in Northeast India under PATH’s USAID-funded RISE project and contributed to national surveys like NFHS-4 & 5, Swachh Survekshan, and the Ease of Living Index. Alice is passionate about community empowerment and maternal and child health. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, trekking, and connecting with nature.
