Santa Barbara, CA – The Vitamin Shoppe® customers showed their overwhelming support for Vitamin Angels’ mission, giving over $750,000 during the month of May. The total raised, enough to help 3 million children and mothers receive life-changing nutritional support, was the most ever raised by store team members during the four-year run of the campaign.

Over its 10-year partnership with Vitamin Angels, The Vitamin Shoppe has helped raise over $10 million, enough to reach more than 40 million mothers and children globally. This impressive achievement comes as The Vitamin Shoppe celebrates its 40th Birthday, and the countless individuals the company has helped to reach their health and wellness goals.
May’s campaign theme, “Healthy Moms Make Miracles Happen,” encouraged customers to give in honor of someone who helped them thrive to support the health of mothers in need worldwide so they can help their children thrive. Customers giving $5 or more received a bracelet that was handmade by mothers in Guatemala, many of whom received prenatal vitamins and whose children are receiving vitamin A from Vitamin Angels. Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, celebrated doctor, holistic practitioner, midwife, nutritionist, author, and philanthropist also shared her support of Vitamin Angels work as part of the campaign.
The Vitamin Shoppe® will hold another in-store and online campaign for Vitamin Angels in December.
