Santa Barbara, CA – Vitamin Angels announced last week that 2015 was its most successful year ever. Last year, the charity reached 33% more children and mothers globally than the previous year, an all-time high of over 48 million served. Working in 54 countries with more than 800 field partners, the organization distributed over 230 million doses of product including high dose vitamin A, prenatal and children’s multivitamins, and deworming tablets.
“This was a fantastic year for Vitamin Angels that wouldn’t have been possible without the commitment of our corporate partners, field partners, and individual donors who wholeheartedly believe in our work,” said Howard Schiffer, president and founder of Vitamin Angels. “We are incredibly grateful for the generous support that allows us to combat malnutrition through the power of vitamins.”
The announcement of 2015 successes came by way of a custom landing page on the organization’s website. The page is a summary of its successes and accomplishments during the course of the previous year. The report can be viewed here.
Vitamin Angels’ 2016 operations are off to a strong start and the organization remains committed to providing the highest quality programs for those most in need worldwide. Those interested in supporting the organization, can do so here.
