A: The Walgreens and Vitamin Angels Prenatal Program provides free prenatal multivitamins to women in need. Prenatal multivitamins are available at participating Walgreens locations or by direct ship to your residence
in eligible zip codes.
Q: How do I get my prenatal multivitamins at the pharmacy?
A: Visit the pharmacy at any participating Walgreens store and request to receive a free bottle of Vitamin Angels’ prenatal multivitamins and nutrition education.
Q: How many bottles of prenatal multivitamins can I redeem through this program?
A: A person who is pregnant or trying to become pregnant may receive one (1) free bottle of prenatal multivitamins during their visit to the pharmacy. Each bottle contains a 6-month supply of prenatal multivitamins. Once the 6-month supply (180 capsules) has been finished, you can receive a second bottle to be taken throughout the remainder of your pregnancy and
during breastfeeding.

A: Anyone who is planning a pregnancy or currently pregnant should take a prenatal multivitamin to meet their nutritional needs. The earlier you begin taking a prenatal multivitamin, the greater the impact it can have on your
health and the health of your child.

A: They support your increased nutritional needs during pregnancy. They have essential vitamins and minerals that:*
- Reduce the risk of anemia, a condition that can be caused by low iron intake.

The prenatal multivitamins provided by the program are manufactured in qualified production facilities that have been GMP-certified by independent agencies. All batches are tested for quality, potency and safety.
Q: Are there side effects to taking a prenatal multivitamin?
A: Mild side effects may occur as your body adjusts to a new multivitamin, like upset stomach, constipation, headaches, nausea, or vomiting. Taking the prenatal multivitamins with water or food, or at bedtime may help reduce these side effects.

A : Each bottle contains 180 capsules, a 6-month supply of prenatal multivitamins. Take only one (1) capsule each day until the bottle is empty.
Q: How should I store my prenatal multivitamins?
A: Prenatal multivitamins should be kept in their bottle, with the lid tightly closed, out of reach of young children. Each bottle contains a silica gel packet to maintain quality and should be kept in the bottle. The bottle should be stored in a COOL, DRY place, between 59°- 89°F.
