Role or Purpose of the Position

The Assistant Program Coordinator Consultant will work closely with Program Coordinator Consultant in Programs divisions to provide support for the organization’s programmatic and technical work. The Assistant Program Coordinator Consultant will be responsible for Assisting the Program Coordinator Consultant in the development, planning, governance, and monitoring of programs/projects to achieve the goals of Vitamin Angels. This includes providing technical and operational support for program/project implementation, networking, partnership building, innovation, knowledge management, and capacity development. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Program Coordinator consultant in developing and implementing program goals, objectives, and strategic plans. 
  • Assist program coordinator consultant in developing and implementing marketing and communication strategies to promote program activities through social media, such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and organizational websites. 
  • Assist Program Coordinator in monitoring the expenditures and schedules, preparing and processing documents, handling calls and correspondence. 
  • Assisting the Program Coordinator consultant in gathering information for program development and evaluation. 
  • Support program evaluation activities by collecting and analyzing data. 
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective program delivery. 
  • Maintain program databases, records, files and analysis for knowledge management. 
  • Assist to input data into salesforce. 
  • Assist in proposal writing and fundraising efforts to secure program funding. 
  • Support capacity building activities. 
  • Travel to program implementation areas across Indonesia, as well as international travel, as and when needed. 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required:

  • Master Degree in health field or a relevant field 
  • A background in public health or a related field required 
  • Minimum 1 year of experience (fresh graduates are welcome to apply) 
  • Familiarity with principles of knowledge management for public health 
  • High level of attention to detail and fluency working with highly technical information 
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented 
  • Strong outreach and verbal communication skills 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English required; additional languages a bonus 
  • Experience working in a global organization 
  • A passion for the mission and work of Vitamin Angels 
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple work streams 
  • Ability to manage stress, including but not limited to, stress resulting from local and foreign travel, large crowds, open spaces, shared office space, and daily activities
