Program Delivery Tools

To build program partner capacity and learning, Vitamin Angels offers a suite of resources to its partners to support their nutrition-related programming. Educational materials and service delivery tools are listed below according to target audience and are available free of charge in the languages listed.

Partners are welcome to print the materials and/or to request hard copies for those materials/languages marked by an asterisk (*) via our Educational Materials Request Form.

Counseling Support One-Pager

Supports staff in educating and counseling patients on taking prenatal multivitamins to support increased adherence.

Calcium Document

Supports staff in counseling patients on meeting adequate dietary intake of key micronutrients not offered in the prenatal multivitamin, specifically calcium.

Distribution Register

Spreadsheet to serve as an internal recordkeeping tool for those organizations who do not already have systems in place to track distribution of prenatal multivitamins.

Distribution Guide

Supports service providers by outlining the key distribution guidelines for the prenatal vitamins at a high level.

Supplement Facts Overview

Provides additional information regarding vitamin formulation, ingredients and dietary restrictions.

Flyer

Printable flyer to raise awareness of and promote discussion around availability of free prenatal multivitamins, to be hung in exam room, waiting rooms, or other areas where participants gather.

Social Shareables

Suite of graphics to advertise availability of prenatal multivitamins, along with user guide containing suggested language for social media platforms.

Nourishing Healthy Pregnancies Brochure

Offers basic education around the importance of daily intake of prenatal multivitamins, dosing instructions, and maternal nutrition, and contains a tool to track daily prenatal multivitamin intake.

Reporting and Renewing

Vitamin Angels requires each partner submit an annual report 11 months into the grant cycle which documents how the prenatal multivitamin grant was distributed, including the quantities of vitamins distributed. After submitting an annual report, program partners have the option of also submitting a renewal application to request an additional annual supply for the coming year.

Report due towards the end of your grant which captures the number of bottles distributed as well as more qualitative information around your prenatal multivitamin program.
